The Times and Life of William

So I'm doing my yearly update again. Its kinda weird just to be on xanga again. In a world full of networking sites I definitely feel that xanga was underappreciated. And it is really neat to be able to go back several years and see what kinda person you were just through this website. Definitely is a blast from the blast.

TCU has been going well. Last semester was such hectic schedule with PASIC I barely had anytime to think. But this semester is a little less of a time restraint (however I do have a lot of challenging classes, mainly music history which is kicking my ass.) Its weird to think that this is my 4th semester in college. Time has really gone by fast and I'm not looking forward to having to complete my sophomore barrier.

It is kinda strange to be looking back on this. It is kinda sad when people can't let go of things from there past. I know that I'm definitely guilty of that. But you can't really grow or learn anything from your past until you move on from it. Just something I've been thinking about.

Well I'm learning tons of cool music for my juries, barriers, and ensemble music. Also if anyone is interested there will be two different percussion concerts at TCU that should be pretty cool. PE 1 on April 7th and PE 2 on April 20th. Come if you wanna hear some good music and wanna watch me play lol.

Ok...so I'm bored...

We are watching a video in psychology and well its interesting...but yeah I figured I'd update this thing. Its my first semester in college and it is insane. TCU is a lot of fun, but there is so much to do and so little time to do it. Practicing, reading, rehearsels, concerts, football games, and trying to get a decent nights sleep. Overall I'm really enjoying TCU. But I'm just trying to get through til the end of the semester. And its insane how fast this semester is going. I really dont think I'm ready for juries and barriers, let alone finals. Meh...

I still think xanga is cool!

It really is though! lol Well a lot has happened since my last entry...its really weird to think about my senior year winding down...about to take my first steps into the college life. I got accepted into the TCU School of Music! I really didnt think I'd make it in...so I'll just say I'm blessed to have the opportunity. So I've been practicing a lot of random crap just to make sure I keep playing so I dont suck when I get in there. Last night I went to the last guard comp. They were awesome...got third! wOOt! Still think flowermound should have gotten first as aposed to marcus...meh just my opinion.(what do I know? I'm not in guard) Staci and I had our year anniversary! She really is awesome and I dont deserve being with her.(again something I'm blessed with). So thats what I've been thinking about lately...God really has blessed me with...too much...I mean I dont deserve any of it cause well I'm not that great of a person really...

Ya know I havent updated on this thing in a really long time....cause of facebook and myspace...but I really like this one the best I think...The reasons...I like how I've posted SO many entries on here...its like I can map out my life in high school...or at least sophomore year to the present. I really like how I can see the change in my life...I think thats just cool. Meh...ok well I'm gonna go to church now. See ya.

Updating?

Man I havent been on xanga in a long long time. I figured why not lol. Well its been a busy weekend and pretty cool too! I made the all region band...even if it isnt the chair I would have liked. I'm perfectly fine with just making it. Region was such a long day...we got up at the band hall at 6:45 so I was up at 6:00 I didnt even play until 4pm. So that was kind of annoying but meh I'm just glad its over. After I finished there I came home and played a 5 dollar game of poker and actually won! $25 Woot! (second place won $6) But yeah who all still uses xanga?
